OshKosh

It's that time of year again when Jake packs up and leaves me for three weeks. :( Why would he do such a thing, you ask? Well, it's the annual AirVenture Airshow in Oshkosh, Wisconsin and AirGyro Aviation is once again part of the tradeshow. I've missed him so much while he's been away! Last year I went out for one of the weeks to visit him, but I didn't think I'd get a chance to do so this year. Luckily, my good 'ol daddy-o decided to fly out for a quick trip to check on things, and invited me along! It was so good to see my hubby again. Can't wait until he returns home in a few days! Three weeks is much too long.

If you haven't been to the Oshkosh airshow, and your even the least bit interested in airplanes and aviation, you're missing out! It's the mecca land for aviation enthusiasts, and boasts to be the biggest airshow in the world. It really is impressive.

Couldn't resist this shot. My dearly beloved Canon is a sponsor of the airshow, and man are they represented there! You seriously can't turn around without seeing a canon camera strap around almost EVERYONE'S neck. I almost felt like I was at a photographer's convention!

Photoshoot for Smink Beauty

My sister Emily has recently started her own business, Smink Beauty. It's a company that does in-home spa treatments, as well as hair and make-up for bride's and their bridal parties. She's been working on getting her website up, and asked if I would take some pictures for the site. We decided to first get some spa shots, and then some bridals showcasing her bridal makeup and hair. For our model we recruited our awesome/gorgeous cousin Audrey. The three of us had a blast I think we ended up with some great shots!










After a bit Audrey and I started getting a little silly, and acting as if we were in an intense model shoot. I love this face she pulled.

Orange Soda

I did this photo shoot a few months back for an online marketing company called Orange Soda. You can check them out at orangesoda.com. We had a lot of fun trying to get creative with a bunch of bottles of orange soda, including trying a few "explosion" experiments (shaking the bottles to see if we could get the soda exploding out). The result was my friend Charlott getting sprayed right in the face. She took it like a champ though, and it looks like we got some good results. These photos are of their tradeshow booth:
