Welcome to our blog!

Jake and I are excited to be starting our first blog. We decided to create this blog to help keep everyone updated on what's new with Meredith Photography. By frequently posting new photos of our latest shoots, you all can know what we are up to, see our most recent work, and just stay better connected!

Introducing...Angie & Preston!

I recently took engagements for Angie and Preston. They are such a fun couple! I love their energy and playfulness. Here are some shots from the session:

For most of the shoot, this cat followed Angie and Preston around, and kept hopping into shots. It was pretty funny, so I had to include at least one!

Angie and Preston really wanted to climb some trees for a few shots. This tree was just a little two narrow for both of them!
This tree worked a little better.

Congrats you two!

The Williams

It's always fun working with family, and my sister, her husband, and their two little girls were no exception. Because Emma and Ava are still so young and full of energy, it's not always easy getting them to "pose" for the camera. So, we decided to go with a more candid approach. I think it worked out just fine!

Emma kept trying to open the fence and escape.

This is Emma telling us, "See? Won't open!"

Daddy and Emma's feet...
And Mommy and Ava's feet...

Love you guys!

Congratulations Brigham & Shayla!

I had the awesome opportunity of photographing the wedding of the new Mr. & Mrs. Udall. They were married in the Mt. Timpanogos Temple two weeks ago. Since my last few weddings were in Salt Lake, it was fun to have a new venue (though I love Salt Lake too). We battled the bright overhead sun, but still managed to get a ton of awesome shots. My husband Jake was able to assist me again (hooray!) and we had a great time with Brigham and Shayla. They're an awesome couple and seemed really comfortable with the cameras in their faces. Because of that, we were able to get some great candid (and posed) shots. Congrats you two!

Their slideshow will be posted soon!

Beautiful Bride...

I was so excited when my long-lost friend Nicole called me to tell me she was getting married! I was even more excited when she asked me to photograph her bridals. It was so good to see her again and we had a great time taking pictures and catching up on everything! Though Nicole claimed to be a little camera shy, I think the camera loved her. She's gorgeous!
