It was freezing cold again for this engagement shoot, but Jordan and Ashley still managed to be great models! I was particularly impressed with Ashley for braving the cold in her short-sleeved shirt while I was decked out in my down coat and boots! Luckily it wasn't all outside. We took a few in the studio as well.
Meet Sarah and Brian. A fabulous couple who actually met on a blind date! Now they are set to wed, and I'm luck enough to be their photographer. The morning of their engagement session, the entire valley was covered in fog. Brian called Sarah and said something like, "what a great day for pictures!" She thought he was being sarcastic. He was right though! The fog really did add an awesome element to the photos. I had a really hard time narrowing it down to my favorites, so I'm posting a few more than usual.

I love this little abandoned cabin, and have been wanting to shoot there for a while. Luckily Sarah and Brian obliged. As we were leaving I joked that this was going to be their first home. I love the reaction I got:

Well, she's actually been a bride by now. I shot these bridals of my good friend Nicolette several weeks back. On Saturday I shot her wedding and I think she looked even more gorgeous then (if that's possible). I'll be heading up to Idaho this weekend to photograph her reception up there, and then I'll post shots from both days. Can't wait!
As for bridals, we had a great time playing around in my studio. I loved the red accent sash on Nicolette's dress and her red shoes!
Here is my last wedding of 2007! Heidi and Stephen were so great to work with and were such troopers in the cold! It was seriously FREEZING, but they managed to continue smiling (or were their faces just frozen that way?) and go along with all that I had in mind. In truth, it really was a beautiful day. All the trees were flocked with snow from the storm the night before and that morning, but things cleared right up and the sun came out as we began shooting. Their reception that night was indoors, of course, and we had an equally good (yet much warmer) time.
Love the snow on everything!
